Matthews has accepted a position on the board of Directors
of the Mid-Atlantic Fallen Riders Association offered by "Babs"
Bailey. When asked to comment: Matthews stated:
"It is an honor to have spoken to Babs Bailey and to be asked to be
a part of this wonderful, needed program to assist the fallen riders
of our sport. I will donate my time, experience and resources
to aid this great cause."

on Women in Extreme Sports. Matthews
segment will cover Women's Motocross. Details of the pod casts

Perris Raceway has agreed to
run multiple women's classifications
during the entire "Hot Summer Nights MX Series"
on the following dates: June 21st, July 5th, July 12th, August
9th, and August 16th.
If you truly want to grow the
women's class and have the opportunity to have separate
divisions available and to race competitively with other women
of your skill level, now's your chance!
It is urgent that we show our support of Perris Raceway by
attending every round of the "Hot Summer Nights MX
Series" you can. If you truly want to be taken
seriously and It's put up or shut up time ladies! Let's show
them we mean business and let's all have a great time doing it!

will be holding a
CROSS-COUNTRY
riding school on Saturday, April 12 at the BSGP Track in Aubrey,
TX featuring guest instruction by Brian Storrie, 8 Time
ISDE team member.
The class will run from 9am to approx 5pm weather permitting.
Riders are to bring their own food and beverages. Riders must
pre-register to reserve a spot. The class will be held to 10

HELP WANTED! WSMX, is
actively seeking qualified Women and Men for instructor
positions Nationwide and in Canada as trainers for
MX, XC, Desert, Off Road and ATV. Interested parties
should possess GREAT people skills, a sense of humor, be able to
demonstrate proper form and be able to communicate clearly and
effectively. WSMX maintains strict standards of excellence and
a code of ethics that must be maintained by it's trainers and

Owner Debbie Matthews has accepted an offer to manage
Team DKL Motorsports AMA Westcoast Lites Team and provide
sponsorship development and coaching services to the team.
This marks the first time in history a woman has managed a
professional Men's MX team.
Debbie Matthews Injury Update
I was seriously injured in 2004
while protecting a student from entering a hazardous area. The
injury nearly took my life and has ended my riding. But God
has been gracious and
I'm most humbly grateful to still be here, walking, talking, and
holding my new grandchild, very carefully!
After 4
years of rehab, I am pleased to announce that the schools have
re-opened, with others performing the instruction. I will
attend as many classes as I can as chief instructor, passing
on whatever pearls of wisdom I still have after all these years.
